Application
TRUELICHT 102 powder is a calcium salt of long chain, saturated, linear carboxylic acids (montanic acids), providing excellent nucleating and lubricating effects in all kinds of injection molded polyamides. In injection molding applications of polyamides the reduction of the cycle time up to 25 % is possible.
Due to the chemical nature, TRUELICHT 102 powder obtains excellent thermal stability, low volatility and color stability.
TRUELICHT 102 powder does also not affect the transparency and the mechanical properties of polyamides and has no influence on polymer degradation. TRUELICHT 102 powder combines the advantages of a lubricating and nucleating agent in one product and is very effective at low concentrations (~ 0.2 – 0.5 %).
