Brief Introduction:
6-O-palmitoyl-L-ascorbic acid(Ascorbyl palmitate) is formed by the esterification of palmitic acid and natural components including L-ascorbic acid. Evaluated by the Additives Committee as a food additive that is nutritious, non-toxic, efficient, and safe to use, it is the only antioxidant that can be used in infant food in China. This product can be used in food for anti-oxidation, food(fat) color protection, nutritional enhancement and other effects.
Ascorbyl palmitate is a highly efficient, safe, non-toxic fat-soluble nutritional antioxidant, which is insoluble in water and vegetable oil. The appearance is white or yellow-white powder, with a slight citrus fragrance.
