PDRN is a mixture of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) that is present in the human placenta. It is one of the complexes in cells that produce the raw materials for DNA.
PDRN has the special ability to promote recovery after skin grafting and was first approved for use as a tissue repair compound in Italy in 2008.
