       Colorless transparent flammable liquid with an ethanol-like odor. Miscible with water, ethanol, ether and chloroform.

APPLICATION   

      Isopropanol is an important chemical product and raw material. Mainly used in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, plastic, perfume, coating and electronic industry as dehydrating agent and cleaning agent. A reagent for the determination of barium, calcium, magnesium, nickel, potassium, sodium, strontium, etc. Chromatographic analysis of reference substances.

      In PCB manufacturing, it is used as a cleaning agent as well as making PCB holes conductive. Many people find it not only can be a good cleaning motherboard, and often can get the best results. In addition, it is also used for other electronic devices, including clean CD cartridges, floppy disk drives, magnetic tape, and CD or DVD players, and laser head drives.

The use of isopropanol as raw material for acetone production is decreasing. Several compounds are synthesized from isopropanol, such as isopropyl ester, methyl isobutyl ketone, isopropylamine, diisopropyl ether, isopropyl acetate, thymol, and many esters. Different quality isopropanol can be supplied according to the end use. The conventional quality of anhydrous isopropanol is more than 99%, while the content of special-grade isopropanol is more than 99.8% (used in essence and medicine).
