Sodium Bicarbonate (NaHCO3 (Sodium Bicarbonate), commonly known as Bicarbonate of soda.Small white crystal, the solubility of less than sodium carbonate in the water.It is also a kind of industrial chemicals, low toxicity.Solid above 50 ºC begin to decompose generate sodium carbonate, carbon dioxide and water, and 440 ºC when the complete decomposition.Sodium bicarbonate is generated after strong base and weak acid neutralization acid salt, weak alkaline appears when dissolved in water.This feature can make it as a leavening agent in the process of food production.After role in sodium bicarbonate sodium carbonate, use too much will make the finished product has alkali flavor.

Functions and Applications
Sodium bicarbonate food grade is used in the food industry as a generating agent of carbon dioxide(loosening agent) for baked goods, such as bread cookies and crackers, b. Sodium bicarbonate pharma,a material owing to its alkalescence, is used for neutralizing peptic acid and releasing the dyspepsia for human beings. c. Sodium bicarbonate is also used in : fire extinguisher fluxing agent in metallurgical industry dye-fixing agent in printing and dyeing industry detergent agent.
