Dimethylsulfoxide is widely used as a solvent and reaction reagent, especially as a processing and drawing solvent in acrylonitrile polymerization reactions, as a solvent for polyurethane synthesis and drawing, as a solvent for the synthesis of polyamides, polyimides, and polysulfone resins, as well as a solvent for the extraction of aromatic hydrocarbons, butadiene, and the synthesis of chlorofluoroaniline.

DMSO is a dimethyl sulfoxide with a wide range of uses. Used as a solvent for acetylene, aromatics, sulfur dioxide, and other gases, as well as a solvent for acrylic fiber spinning. It is an extremely important non proton polar solvent that is soluble in both water and organic solvents. It has strong permeability to the skin and helps drugs penetrate the human body. It can also be used as an additive for pesticides. It is also a very important chemical reagent.
