2. Main uses: Catalyst carrier. Amino acid and protein precipitants. Used as a decolorizer for cod liver oil, precipitate and isolate amino acids, etc; Used as a white leather tanning agent to make the leather surface delicate, rich, and elastic. SECTION 4: First aid measures

4.1 Description of first aid measures

Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. If coughing or breathing difficulty occurs, get immediate medical attention.
Skin contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with plenty of running water for at least 15 minutes. Seek urgent medical help.
Eye contact: Flush eyes continuously with clean running water for minimum 15 minutes, keep eyelids open. Call doctor immediately.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Give water if victim is conscious. Seek immediate medical treatment.

4.2 Most important symptoms and effects

Corrosive. Causes severe burns to skin, eyes and mucous membranes.

4.3 Indication of immediate medical attention

Treat burns symptomatically.
