    Polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether is a derivative of polyethylene glycol. It is soluble in water, ethanol and most highly polar organic solvents. It is less volatile than glycerin, has stable chemical properties, is not easily damaged by hydrolysis, and has strong hydrophilicity. . It has low vapor pressure and is stable to heat. It is used as a thickener and lubricant in the textile printing and dyeing industry and daily chemical industry. In the building materials industry, it is used as a raw material for cement water-reducing agent and chemical-strengthening agent. The polycarboxylic acid high-efficiency water-reducing agent synthesized using this raw material has strong ability to maintain the dispersion of cement particles, making the product low dosage, high water-reducing rate, good reinforcement effect, durability, non-corroding steel bars and environmentally friendly. Etc. It can be used in high-performance, high-strength (above C60) commercial concrete for on-site mixing and long-distance transportation.
