Description

Carbomer is an acrylic cross-linked resin obtained by crosslinking pentaerythritol, etc. with acrylic acid. It is a very important rheological modifier. The neutralized carbomer is an excellent gel matrix, which has important uses such as thickening and suspension. It is widely used in lotion, cream, gel, eye ointment, rectal and local preparations.

Function

Suspension. Carbomer can permanently suspend insoluble components in the system.

Emulsification. Carbomer can play an emulsifying and stabilizing role in the oil or water phase.

Thickening. Carbomer can generate a wide range of viscosity and fluidity.

Application

Shampoo and shower gel, carbomer is a non ionic surfactant with excellent cleaning, emulsifying, and stabilizing properties.

Lotion and cream products, carbomer can evenly mix water-soluble and oil-soluble components together and form a stable emulsion. This makes lotion and cream products easier to push away and absorb, and can remain stable for a long time.

G el and cream preparations in skin care products , carbomer can increase the viscosity and consistency of the product, making it easier to apply and absorb.
