      Product Detail

Isoprinosine is an antiviral drug. In addition to its direct antiviral effect, it is also related to its immune-enhancing effect, mainly to enhance cellular immune function. In addition, it enhances proliferation induced by specific cleavage factors, increases antibody production, and increases the production of lymphoid activating factors.
    1. Antiviral effect Isoprinosine mainly plays an antiviral effect by indirectly improving the host's immune function, but some direct effects cannot be ruled out. During viral infection, the function of T lymphocytes is reduced. Isoprinosine can restore the immunosuppressive state, inhibit the synthesis of viral RNA in infected cells, and enhance the effect of interferon. In cell culture, it can inhibit the reproduction of DNA viruses (herpes simplex virus, adenovirus, vaccinia virus) and RNA viruses (rhinovirus, influenza A and B viruses, polio virus, measles virus, and mumps virus).
    2. Immunomodulatory effect (1) Effect on immune function in vitro: It has no effect on resting lymphocytes, but can enhance the immune response triggered by phytohemagglutinin or antigen, promote the differentiation and proliferation of T lymphocytes, and produce killing T lymphocytes. It can both activate TH cells and improve the inhibitory function of T cells in vitro, so it is considered to be a regulator of T cells. It can increase the production of lymphokine, enhance macrophage activity and natural killer cell function, and improve the effect of interferon.
    (2) Effects on immune function in animals: After treating mice infected with influenza virus with isoprinosine, the response of spleen cells to influenza antigen proliferation increased by 3 times, which can completely reverse the immune suppression caused by the virus.
    (3) Effect on human immune function: After volunteers exposed to influenza virus were treated with isoprinosine for 3 to 6 days, the proliferation of lymphocytes caused by the virus increased significantly, and the lymphotoxin in infected cells also increased significantly. After patients infected with type I or type II herpes simplex virus were treated with isoprinosine, peripheral lymphocytes increased by 138% under PHA induction; in response to herpes antigens, the production of lymphokine and lymphotoxin increased by 63%.
[Indications] 1. Used for a variety of viral infections, including subacute sclerosing panencephalitis, acute viral meningitis, herpes zoster, skin herpes, influenza and thrush, herpes virus keratitis, and uveitis , acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), immunodeficiency diseases, etc.
    2. Used as a therapeutic agent for malignant lymphoma, myeloma, early malignant melanoma, and combined with surgery to treat postoperative patients with esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, rectal cancer, and thyroid cancer.
[Usage and Dosage] Veterinary Drug Formula Recommendations: It is recommended that this product be combined with appropriate drugs to treat viral diseases, such as with florfenicol, azithromycin, etc. to treat respiratory diseases secondary to PRRS; combined with quinolones For the treatment of enterotoxemia secondary to diarrhea virus, etc. This product can also be combined with Echinacea polysaccharide, Astragalus polysaccharide, etc. to treat atypical Newcastle disease, avian influenza, porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome, circovirus and other immunosuppressive diseases. It can be made into a feed premix with vitamin C, astragalus polysaccharide, etc. to improve the immune function of the animal body; it can be combined with traditional Chinese medicines such as isatis root, astragalus, honeysuckle, forsythia, and skullcap to make special antiviral drugs. The antiviral effect is better than that of ribavirin and amantadine, and the immune-enhancing effect is better than that of polysarcoma, levamisole and thymosin.
Mix with 3~5g/100kg of water; mix with 3~5g/100kg of feed. Inject 3~5mg/kg body weight
[Precautions] 1. Because the inosine part of the drug is eventually converted into uric acid, uric acid in serum and urine may temporarily increase. Pay attention to drinking plenty of water.
    2. Cellular immune function tests should be performed before medication.
