Description:

Glutathione, an antioxidant found in plants, animals, fungi, and certain bacteria, plays a crucial role in safeguarding cellular components from damage caused by reactive oxygen species, free radicals, peroxides, lipid peroxides, and heavy metals. This tripeptide, comprising cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine, occurs naturally in the skin, providing protection against environmental damage.

• GLUTATHIONE serves as a potent antioxidant that effectively prevents skin damage induced by the sun, pollution, and smoking. It is a key ingredient in numerous creams and lotions, known for its robust antioxidant properties that contribute to skin brightening and lightening. Referred to as a 'Wonder drug' for addressing hyperpigmentation issues, it diminishes acne scars, blemishes, and dark spots.
• Moreover, it promotes the synthesis of pheomelanin, a lighter-colored pigment (yellow-red), leading to an increase in the proportion of pheomelanin and, consequently, lighter skin tones. Glutathione disrupts the movement of melanogenic enzymes, inhibits tyrosinase activity, and interferes with melanosome transfer through various mechanisms.

Thanks to its antioxidant capabilities, Glutathione effectively scavenges free radicals responsible for skin aging when exposed to UV rays and environmental toxins.
