Oxytetracycline dihydrate is an antibiotic mainly used to treat bacterial diseases caused by Vibrio, aeromonas hydrophis, Edwardsiella and other bacteria in fish. In addition, oxytetracycin dihydrate has high antibacterial activity against enterobacteriaceae bacteria such as Escherichia coli and Bacillus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and is highly stable for most β-lactamases produced by bacteria, so it can still have antibacterial activity against the multi-drug resistant strains of the above-mentioned gram-negative bacteria (refer to relevant literature)
