PVC Processing Aid

PVC multifunctional processing aids is a new type of polymer silicone polymer, is a functional processing aids with good performance.Swax-80 is a silicon monomer polymerized by high temperature oxidation, its properties are white or light yellow flowing particles. It is odorless, insoluble in water, easy to melt in phosphoric acid tributyl, etc. Melting point 130-160 degrees Celsius. Acid value ≤0.5mgKOH/g, suitable for PVC foaming sheet products, increase plasticizing time, change the late film removal, and so on.

Advantages of PVC multi-functional processing aids:

1、 New type silicon polymer with good performance (high and new technology).

2、 Reduce the adhesion of thermoplastic melting, increase the output (capacity enhancement).

3, improve the speed of plasticization of PVC products, extrusion rate increase, while greatly reducing the torque (production continuity enhancement).

4、 Relatively small amount of other similar products, at the same time can increase the filler, such as calcium powder, etc., significantly reduce production costs (cost-effective).

5, to improve the luster of the finished product, lubrication effect 1 so that the late demolding performance is good (excellent stability).

6, because it does not contain metal ions, the additive can prevent precipitation (anti-precipitation).

The specific molecular structure of the product makes it more compatible with the resin (good compatibility).

This product can replace the domestic PE wax, oxidized polyethylene wax, and some foreign models such as 316, oa9.oa6, etc..

Application

1、 It is used in high density foaming sheet to improve the foaming density of the product and also increase the foaming density. Foamed wall board, PVC foamed board, PVC flooring, SPC, foamed WPC, PVC high calcium products and so on.

2、 It is used in PVC film to improve the lubricity.

Physical Properties:

PVC is a thermoplastic polymer. Its properties for PVC are usually categorized based on rigid and flexible PVCs.Mechanical propertiesPVC has high hardness and mechanical properties. The mechanical properties enhance with the molecular weight increasing, but decrease with the temperature increasing. The mechanical properties of rigid PVC (uPVC) is very good, the elastic modulus can reach to 1500-3,000 MPa. The soft PVC (Flexible PVC) elastic is 1.5- 15 MPa. However, elongation at break is up to 200% -450%. PVC friction is ordinary, the static friction factor is 0.4-0.5, the dynamic friction factor is 0.23.Thermal propertiesThe heat stability of PVC is very poor, when the temperature reaches 140 °C PVC starts to decompose. Its melting temperature is 160 °C. The linear expansion coefficient of the PVC is small and has flame retardancy, the oxidation index is up to 45 or more. Therefore, the addition of a heat stabilizer during the process is necessary in order to ensure the product's properties.Electrical propertiesPVC is a polymer with good insulation properties but because of its higher polar nature the electrical insulating property is inferior to non polar polymers such as poly ethylene and poly propylene.
