HCFC-141B clean agent

HCFC-141B is intended as an interim replacementfor CFC-113 solvents.HCFC-141B can be used in many applicationswhere CFC-113 is used. There are some basicdifferences in the physical properties of thesolvents,such as boiling point and solvency values.Some modification and/or adjustment of cleaningequipment will be required.It is recommended practice to test materialcompatibility before changing cleaning processes.Materials listed here should serve only as a guideand not replace actual testing because materialcompositions may vary according to themanufacturer. 

HCFC-141B is considered low in overall toxicity;however, all solvents are potentially hazardous dueto their ability to displace air,creating danger ofasphyxiation. Always read and follow precautions onthe container label and Material Safety Data Sheetprior to use on the product. 

HCFC-141B solvent drums and containersshould be tightly closed and stored in a cool, dry,well ventilated area，away from sunlight, heat, sparksor open flame. Product storage temperatures shouldnot exceed 120°F. If containers should reachexcessive temperatures, the container may deformdue to the increase in vapor pressure. HCFC-141B should be stored in the original, linedcontainers to ensure product integrity.
