    Properties

    Glycine ethyl ester hydrochloride also known as ethyl aminoacetate hydrochloride. It is a white crystalline powder at room temperature. Soluble in water, solubility in water >1000g/L(20ºC), slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in ether, easy to absorb moisture in the air, and slow decomposition when the temperature exceeds 200℃. Uses Glycine ethyl ester hydrochloride is used as a pesticide pyrethroid insecticide and as a raw material in pharmaceutical industry, such as as an intermediate for the preparation of inulinic acid and dichlorothrinic acid, bactericide isomylurea, pharmaceutical anti-inflammatory drugs, tetrazolacetic acid, etc. It is also used in biochemical research and other preparations. Low toxicity, lack of toxicity data, its toxicity can refer to glycine, due to the molecule contains hydrogen chloride, should avoid contact with the skin and eyes. The storage is sealed in a cardboard drum lined with plastic film and stored in a dry, ventilated, cool and sun-proof warehouse to avoid contact with damp gas.     Uses

    Glycine ethyl ester hydrochloride is an important intermediate in the preparation of inulinic acid or dichlorothrinic acid, and is also an intermediate in the bactericide isomycetes. Use This product is a pesticide intermediate and is also used in biochemical research. Use as pesticide pyrethroid insecticide intermediate and pharmaceutical intermediate Use glycine ethyl ester hydrochloride is mainly used in the synthesis of anti-inflammatory drugs, can also be used in the synthesis of tetrazolacetic acid and so on. In addition, it is widely used in synthetic insecticides. Use for the production of pesticide pyrethroid insecticides and pharmaceutical intermediates obtained by esterification of glycine and ethanol. The dry hydrogen chloride is absorbed by the ethanol solution, then the glycine-ethanol mixture is added, and the mixture is stirred vigorously for 1-1.5h. After being heated and dissolved, the filtrate is cooled and crystallized to obtain the finished product. The production method can be prepared by Chemicalbook using glycine or chloroacetic acid as raw material. The breakdown is as follows. Glycine as raw material method, dry hydrogen chloride gas is passed into anhydrous ethanol to make hydrogen chloride ethanol solution first, and then glycine is added, heated and stirred for esterification. The reaction temperature is controlled at 80 ~ 85℃, and the reaction liquid is stirred for a few minutes after the glycine is completely dissolved. The reaction liquid is moved to the crystallization pot while hot, cooled and crystallized, and filtered to obtain glycine ethyl ester hydrochloride. Reaction equation: NH2CH2COOH+C2H5O[HCl]→NH2CH2COOC2H5·HCl can also add glycine and anhydrous ethanol into the reactor with stirring, heating to 60℃, then add hydrogen chloride gas, hydrogen chloride is passed through until the reactants are completely dissolved, and continue to pass hydrogen chloride until recrystallization is the end point, and the reaction liquid is moved to the crystallization pot. The glycine ethyl ester hydrochloride was obtained by mixing, cooling, crystallization, filtration, washing with anhydrous ethanol and drying. By using chloroacetic acid as raw material, chloroacetic acid, uloatropine and anhydrous ethanol were added to the reactor, and ammonia was added at 45℃, so that the pH was 8 ~ 8.5, and the rate of ammonia passing was controlled to maintain the reaction temperature between 40 ~ 65℃. After ammonia passing, the reaction was kept warm at 65℃ for 1h, and then the temperature was lowered to 30℃, and hydrogen chloride-anhydrous ethanol solution was added. After the drip is finished, it reacts at 70℃ for 2h, and then filters at 62 ~ 65℃ while it is hot to separate ammonium chloride crystals. The filtrate is placed in a crystallization pot, cooled to 10℃, stirred and crystallized, filtered and dried to obtain glycine ethyl ester hydrochloride. Reaction equation: ClCH2COOH+NH3[ethanol]→NH2CH2COOH[C2H5OH]→[HCl]NH2CH2COOH·HCl
