Brief Introduction:

(S)-(-)-2-Methyl-2-propanesulfinamide, also known as (S)-tert-butylsulfinamide or Tert-butylsulfenamide, has a CAS number of 343338-28-3, an EINECS number of 640-158-3, and a chemical formula of C4H11NOS. (S)-(-)-2-Methyl-2-propanesulfinamide is a new type of pharmaceutical intermediate developed in recent years and is also a key chiral source for the synthesis of chiral amine drugs and their intermediates.

Preparation Method:

(S)-(-)-2-Methyl-2-propanesulfinamide is generally prepared by reacting tert-butylsulfonyl chloride and ammonia in N,N-dimethylformamide.
