What is Cefuroxime /Cefuroxime Acid ?

Cefuroxime, a second-generation cephalosporin, binds to penicillin binding proteins (PBPs) on the bacterial cell membrane to inhibit cell division and growth, and finally dissolve and die the bacteria.
