White to off-white crystalline powder, easily soluble in ether, soluble in benzene, chloroform, glacial acetic acid, slightly soluble in ethanol, almost insoluble in water. Melting point is 78.5～81.5℃. Boiling point is higher than 360℃ (measured in inert gas). Triphenylphosphine is an important ligand of homogeneous catalysts used in petrochemical and fine chemical production, and new uses are constantly being developed, and demand is increasing year by year.
