Acetylspiramycin is the acetyl derivative of spiramycin ,which is 16 membered ring macrolide . This product has good antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus , Streptococcus pneumoniae , Streptococcus pyogenes , Enterococcus faecalis and other Gram-positive cocci.

It has inhibition effect on Listeria , Moraxella catarrhalis , Neisseria gonorrhoeae , Campylobacter fetus , Haemophilus influenzae , Legionella pneumophila , Bordetella pertussis , Bacteroides , Clostridium perfringens , Propionibacterium acnes , digestion cocci Peptostreptococcus Chlamydia , Mycoplasma , Toxoplasma and Cryptosporidium.
