What is Niclosamide  ?

Niclosamide is an eelicide (Iampricide) and a molluscicide (molluscicide). It is a salicylamide derivative. Its anti-insect mechanism is to inhibit the oxidative phosphorylation process of mitochondria in somatic cells of worms, reduce the production of energy substance ATP, deteriorate the head and adjacent nodes of tapeworms, and the worms fall off from the intestinal wall with excretion. Not effective on eggs. Death knot tablet is easy to be digested and decomposed by protease in intestinal cavity, releasing eggs, which has the risk of causing cysticercosis. It can also kill snails and Schistosoma japonicum cercaria. It can kill many kinds of snails, beef tapeworm (Taenia saginata), pork tapeworm (Taeniasolium), fish tapeworm diphyllobothrium latifolia, hymenolium brevichymenium, and Cercariae. In agriculture, it is mainly used to kill snails in rice fields (also known as large bottle snails, apple snails, English Pomacea canaliculata). At the same time, in public health control, it is used to kill snails (intermediate host of schistosomiasis). Clonitsamide can produce rapid metabolic changes in water, and the action time is not long.

  Application
