Diosmin is a naturally occurring flavonoid glycoside that can be isolated from various plant sources or derived from the flavonoid hesperidin. Diosmin is a biogenic amine derived by extracting hesperidin from Citrus Aurantium L.,followed by conversion of hesperidin to diosmin.
