Nattokinase is an enzyme (protein) that's found in natto, which is fermented soybeans degrades fibrin proteins (a cause of thrombi). Natto is a traditional Japanese food made from soybeans fermented by Bacillus natto and Nattokinase is found in the sticky part of Natto.
