Triisopropanolamine is an aminoalcohol which is white to yellow solid or liquid based on room temperature. It is completely soluble in water and has a slight, ammonia-like odor. It is used in a variety of applications.

Triisopropanolamine(TIPA) is used as cement grinding aid and concrete admixtures in cement and concrete industries. TIPA is also used as a cross-linker in special niche water-based coating applications and neutralizing agent in agricultural products and water borne coatings.
