Application

Lithium silicate can be used as a coating base material and water can be used as a solvent. The coating film formed not only has the heat resistance, oxidation resistance, radiation resistance, and non-toxicity of inorganic coatings, but also has the characteristics of self-drying, heat resistance up to 1000℃, wear resistance, moisture resistance, weather resistance, resistance to dry-wet alternation, and excellent water resistance.

As a surface treatment agent, lithium silicate can be directly applied to the metal surface and used as an anti-rust liquid for steel surfaces, an anti-corrosion agent for metal components such as accordions, daily necessities, radios, and instruments, and used to preserve the gloss and color of non-ferrous metal decorations and crafts; when applied to glass, it can form a surface coating with excellent light transmittance and low reflectivity; when applied to galvanized iron sheets, it will not corrode in salt water; when applied to plastic films, it can improve their moisture-proof and gas-barrier properties.
