Cefaclor is the second generation of cephalosporin antibiotics, and the antibacterial effect is similar to cephalexin. It has good antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, hemolytic streptococcus virescens and Streptococcus pneumonalis. It also has strong antibacterial activity against gram-negative bacteria such as salmonella, Shigella, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis and so on.
