Product Detail

Pro-Xylane, is a xylose-derived active anti-aging substance. It can promote the synthesis of collagen, making the skin more resilient and elastic, improving neck fine lines and preventing aging. Pro-Xylane is a glycoprotein mixture derived from xylose. Since xylose is abundant in beech trees and has the ability to promote the production of glucosaminoglycans, namely mucopolysaccharides (GAGs). As Pro-Xylane extracted from beech trees, it has a similar function to xylose.

Function: It can stimulate the production of mucopolysaccharides (GAGs) and increase the water content in the extracellular matrix. As a result, it can fully fill the gaps in the extracellular matrix (ECM), reducing wrinkles on the skin and making the skin look smoother. Meanwhile, it plays a role at the dermal - epidermal junction (DEJ), promoting the synthesis of collagen VII and collagen IV, which makes the connection between our epidermis and dermis tighter, enabling the whole skin to regain its fullness and appear firmer and more elastic.

Pro-xylane (PX) is a cosmetic ingredient used for skin conditioning and is widely used in anti-aging product research. It is considered to be an optimal activator for the biosynthesis of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) sulphate and can be used to prepare a novel bioactive c-glycoside compound, which is a "green" chemical. In addition, Pro-xylane has been shown to enhance the blue colour of anthocyanins (ACNs), with ACNs-PX showing a colour close to Oxford blue, a surface height of 2.13 ± 0.14 nm and a slight increase in stability[1-2].
Pro-xylane is an organic compound with the appearance of a pale yellow to off-white powder or a colourless viscous liquid, stored in a cool dry place, and has been used in experiments related to the basic science of aging.
