Polyferric Sulfate(PFS), also known as Polymeric Ferric Sulfate and Polyferric Sulphate, is an iron-based inorganic polymer coagulant. The solid is light yellow powder and is easily soluble in water; the aqueous solution is a reddish brown transparent solution. It has the advantages of high hygroscopicity, extremely high flocculation ability, fast sedimentation rate and wide application range.

Poly ferric sulfate has stable performance, excellent water purification effect and does not contain heavy metal ions and other harmful substances. It has the functions of decolourisation, deodorisation, deodorisation, odour removal, removal of heavy metal ions, radioactive substances and carcinogenic substances in water. The removal rate of COD, BOD and chromaticity is above 90%. It has good purification effect on low temperature, low turbidity and high turbidity raw water.

Poly ferric sulphate can also be used as phosphorus remover. Compared with other inorganic flocculants, the treatment cost can be reduced by 20% - 50%. Widely used in thermal power plants, coking plants, paper mills, printing and dyeing plants, electroplating plants, chemical plants and other heavily polluted wastewater treatment (because of its pH range is wider than that of polymeric aluminium chloride, suitable for pH value fluctuation of water quality).

Usage and precautions：

Packaging and storage：

1、Packed in cardboard boxes, depending on the size： 10*10*10cm for 18 pieces of a box (carton)，10*10*5cm for 36 pieces of a box (carton)

2、Can be shipped on a trailing tray to protect the honeycomb activated carbon from being crushed in transit.

3、Handle gently, avoid squeezing and collision: honeycomb activated carbon is fragile and needs to be handled with care.

4、Non-waterproof honeycomb activated carbon needs to be moisture-proof: isolate it from water to avoid breaking.

Usage and Precautions:

It is recommended that an aqueous solution be used at a concentration of 0.1% to 0.3% and preferably formulated with neutral and desalinated water.

The most economical dosage is determined by preliminary tests and the pH of the water to be treated is adjusted prior to treatment.

During formulation, the polymer hydrogel should be dispersed uniformly in the agitated water to ensure adequate contact. Heating the water (below 60 degrees Celsius) can accelerate dissolution, which takes about 3-15 minutes. Due to the viscous nature of PAM, the work area should be rinsed frequently to keep it clean.

Application Field

Polymeric ferrous sulphate(PFS) is a widely used chemical coagulant, mainly used in the field of water treatment. It can remove a variety of harmful substances in the water, thus purifying the water quality.

Used in Sludge Dewatering

Anionic polyacrylamide is mainly used for sludge dewatering to reduce water content. It forms large flocs that don't stick to
filter cloth and don't disperse during press, resulting in thick mud cake and high dehydration efficiency.

Applied in the disposal of organic liquids

Cationic polyacrylamide is superior to anionic, nonionic, and inorganic salts in treatment of negatively charged waste water,
often achieving several to tens of times higher effectiveness.

Other applications Fields

As oilfield additives, polyacrylamide acts as a thickening agent for acidification, and performs well as a textile sizing agent,
providing stable sizing performance, low fabric breakage rate, and smooth cloth surface.
