What is Cefuroxime Acid/Cefuroxime?
Cephalexin (cefalexin) is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the upper respiratory tract, the middle ear, the bones, the skin, and the reproductive and urinary systems. Cephalexin (cefalexin) works by interfering with the bacteria's cell wall formation. This weakens the cell wall, causing it to rupture, and kills the bacteria.

Function
The fourth generation cephalosporin. The antibacterial spectrum has been further expanded, and it has strong antibacterial activity against a variety of Gram-positive and negative bacteria, including Enterobacter, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and other non-fermentable bacteria, Haemophilus, and Staphylococcus. It is used for various infections caused by sensitive bacteria, mainly for respiratory infections caused by maintenance infections such as Staphylococcus aureus, Enterobacter and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Application
The bacteriostatic mechanism of cephalexin is that by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell wall, the cell contents expand to cell autolysis, thus achieving bactericidal effect.Cephalexin is a broad spectrum antibiotic. It has antibacterial effect on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, and its antibacterial ability is 20 times larger than penicillins, 10 times larger than sulfonamides and 5 times larger than quinolones.
Cephalexin is the first generation of cephalosporin, its antibacterial spectrum is basically the same as that of cephalosporin, but its antibacterial activity is weaker than the latter. In addition to Enterococcus and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, most strains of Streptococcus pneumoniae, hemolytic streptococcus, and penicillinase producing or non-producing staphylococcus were sensitive to this product.
