What is L-Lysine Monohydrochloride ?

L-Lysine hydrochloride is a chemical substance with molecular formula of C6H14N2O2•HCl and molecular weight of 182.65. L-Lysine is one of the most important amino acids, and the amino acid industry has become an industry of considerable scale and importance. L-Lysine is mainly used in food, medicine and feed.

White powder, odorless or slightly peculiar odor. It is soluble in water but insoluble ether. 1g is soluble in 2.5mL water, 10ml glycerol or 1000ml glycol at 20 ° C. Strong moisture absorption. Relatively stable, but easy to agglomerate at high temperature, coloring. It is stable under acidic conditions, easy to decompose in the presence of reducing sugars under alkaline conditions, and easy to color when coexists with vitamin C or vitamin K3.
