THIXON™ 305 is a high-performance bonding agent designed to bond silicone elastomers (VMQ) to rigid substrates during vulcanization. It adheres to various materials such as hot and cold rolled steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and thermoplastics like polyamides and polyesters. Key features include excellent resistance to elevated temperatures (up to 150°C), oil, and hydrolysis. THIXON™ 305 offers versatility with multiple application techniques, including brushing, dipping, and spraying. The adhesive consists of reactive silane polymers in solvents such as methanol and ethanol, ensuring strong bonds and reliable performance in industrial settings. Suitable for curing at temperatures between 120°C and 200°C, it provides robust results for demanding bonding applications.
