Copper Tripeptide-1 Palmitamide is a complex of copper with a synthetic lipopeptide, a modification of the famous GHK peptide (Tripeptide-1) in which terminal lysin's amino group is acylated with palmiti acid. This modification improved the ingredient's lipophilicity, stability, skin permeability, and effectiveness. Its solution is a clear, transparent, light blue (due to the presence of Cu2+ ions) liquid with a slight characteristic odor.
