Calcium hydrogen phosphate is a white monoclinic crystalline powder without odor or taste. It dissolves in dilute hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and acetic acid, and is slightly soluble in water. Its relative density is 2.32. It is stable in air. It begins to lose water at 75℃ to form anhydrous calcium hydrogen phosphate.

White monoclinic crystalline powder. Odorless and tasteless. Soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid, dilute nitric acid and acetic acid, slightly soluble in water, and insoluble in ethanol.

Purpose

Calcium hydrogen phosphate can be used as a buffer; a loosening agent; a food additive for improving the texture; a nutritional supplement; a yeast feed material; an emulsifier; a curing agent; an antioxidant enhancer; a stabilizer. Chemicalbook, for example, can be used as filling material for cherry canned food, milk powder, cream powder, cold drinks, ice cream, potato products, snack foods, flour, cakes, pastries, and baking quality improvers. As an auxiliary feed for poultry, it can promote feed digestion and also treat rickets, osteomalacia, anemia and other diseases in livestock. As a food and feed additive, it can supplement phosphorus and calcium elements in livestock and poultry feed. As a booster (to supplement calcium) and a leavening agent, it is stipulated by China to be used in biscuits and infant formula foods, with a maximum usage of 1.0g/kg; it can also be used as a quality improver and be used in fermented food products, and be used in an appropriate amount according to production needs. It can be used as a base fertilizer for various crops.
