    Application: 

    VCs series vanadium catalysts with cesium as another promoter, are high performance catalysts developed and produced by Guizhou Wylton Catalyst Technology Co., Ltd. They are the vanadium catalysts used for the oxidation of sulfur dioxide to make sulfuric acid.


    Cesium Sulfuric Acid Catalyst VCs 30/50/70

    VCs series vanadium catalysts with cesium as another promoter are high performance catalysts developed and produced by Guizhou Wylton Catalyst Technology Co., Ltd. These vanadium catalysts are used for the oxidation of sulfur dioxide to make sulfuric acid.

    It is our unique making process that makes the diatomaceous earth as catalyst’s support maintain its structure integrity, and thereby the active components can disperse into the earth’s micropores uniformly and the pore radius thus distributes in a more wide range. Besides, with cesium as another promoter, the total catalysts substantially lower its striking temperature thus improve the conversion rate.

    With imported diatomaceous earth as supports, our VCs cesium catalysts have more brilliant porosity and larger surface area, making the catalysts show better in activity, bulk density and pressure drop.

    All those unique features including special making process, special active components and excellent imported supports etc. ensure that the final catalysts can provide longer service life, wider screening span and less screening loss. In normal operating conditions, the catalyst’s service life is 8 to 15 years, the screening cycle is 2 to 5 years, and the screening loss is 10~15%.

    With the broad compatibility for various raw materials, scales and processes of sulfuric acid plants, CHP and VCs series can help to meet the requirements of increasingly stringent sulfur dioxide emission and then guarantee the stable and long operating cycle of sulfuric acid plants.


    Performance

    VCs series vanadium pentoxide sulfuric acid catalyst is a new catalyst with vanadium as active component and cesium as another promoter. By using our VCs catalyst, the striking temperature can be as low as 350℃, which means shortening the start-up time, promoting the conversion efficiency and reducing the SO2 emission. It is designed to be used in the upper half of pass 1 or in the last pass with lower operating temperature before the first absorption or in all passes after the first absorption.

Adopting high-quality imported diatomite as the carrier, our unique production process maximally retains the complete microstructure of the diatomite carrier, avoiding damage during the preparation process. This enables active components to be uniformly dispersed in the micropores of the carrier, resulting in more reasonable pore size distribution, and significantly superior porosity and specific surface area compared with similar products. These advantages endow the catalysts with excellent performance in catalytic activity, bulk density control and system pressure drop optimization.

    The excellent process and high-quality raw materials ensure the products have a long service life and low operation loss. Under normal operating conditions, the service life of the catalyst can reach 8-15 years, the screening cycle is extended to 2-5 years, and the screening loss is only 5%-10%, which greatly reduces the replacement and operation and maintenance costs of enterprises.
