N N -Methylenebisacrylamide

N,N'-Methylenebisacrylamide is an organic compound that crystallises as a white or light yellow powder. Melting point 184 ºC (decomposition), relative density 1. 352 (30 ºC). Soluble in water, also soluble in ethanol, acetone and other organic solvents.

It can be copolymerised with acrylamide to make oilfield fracturing fluid, and copolymerised with certain monomer to make insoluble resin, which can be used as water plugging and grouting material.
