    Acetic Acid is also known as an Ethanoic Acid, which is colorless chemical compound with distinct sour taste and quite pungent smell. It is a chemical reagent for the production of chemical compound. It is a polar solvent like ethanol and water. It dissolves not only polar compounds such as inorganic salts and  sugars , but also non-polar compounds such as oils as well as polar solutes. It is a Byproduct of the fermentation.

    Application of Acetic Acid

    Solvent

    Acetic Acid used as a solvent in for ink, paint and coating industries. Acetic acid is used as a coagulant in manufacturing rubber and is also used in manufacturing many dyestuffs and perfumes.

    Acetic Acid is widely used as an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient manufacturing process and for analysis in pharma industry. Acetic Acid is a very helpful chemical for cancer treatment, Acetic Acid injection in a tumor has been used to treat cancer since 1800s. It is also effective antiseptic when it is used as a 1% solution. It also very useful ingredient for adjusting ph level.
