    Difenoconazole – Broad-Spectrum Systemic Fungicide

    CAS Number: 119446-68-3
    Molecular Formula: C₁₉H₁₇Cl₂N₃O₃
    Formulations Available:

    • Technical Grade: 95% TC

    • Formulated Products: 25% EC, 250 g/L SC, 10% WG, Seed Treatment (FS)

    Product Description:

Difenoconazole is a high-performance systemic fungicide belonging to the triazole chemical family. It is extensively used in modern agriculture for its preventative, curative, and eradicative activity against a wide range of fungal diseases. This product is absorbed quickly by the plant and provides long-lasting protection by inhibiting ergosterol biosynthesis—an essential component of fungal cell membranes.

    Mode of Action:

Difenoconazole works by inhibiting the enzyme C-14 demethylase involved in the biosynthesis of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell walls. This disruption halts the growth and proliferation of the fungus, effectively stopping infections and preventing new ones.

    Benefits & Features:

    • Triple Action: Preventive, curative, and eradicative properties

    • Systemic Protection: Moves within plant tissues to protect new growth

    • Broad Crop Coverage: Suitable for cereals, fruits, vegetables, and ornamentals

    • Low Use Rates: Highly effective even at low application rates

    • Rainfast: Once absorbed, it remains effective after rainfall

    • Compatibility: Can be tank-mixed with many other agrochemicals

    Recommended Uses:

    Crop Disease Controlled
    Grapes Downy mildew, powdery mildew
Apples & Pears Scab, Alternaria, powdery mildew
Wheat & Barley Septoria, rusts, Fusarium head blight
Vegetables (Tomato, Pepper, Cucumber) Leaf spots, anthracnose, early blight
    Bananas Sigatoka
    Ornamentals Leaf spots, rusts

    Application Guidelines:

    • Foliar Application: 100–300 mL per hectare depending on crop and disease pressure

    • Seed Treatment: 10–30 mL per kg seed (special formulation only)

    • Interval: Repeat applications every 7–14 days or as needed

    • Always follow local agronomic advice and label instructions

    Packaging Information:
