    Product Overview

Pyraclostrobin is a premium broad-spectrum fungicide belonging to the strobilurin (QoI) chemical class. Known for its preventive and curative action, Pyraclostrobin offers effective control of a wide range of fungal pathogens affecting cereals, fruits, vegetables, and legumes. In addition to disease suppression, Pyraclostrobin enhances plant vigor and stress tolerance, contributing to improved crop yields and quality.

Ideal for use in integrated pest management (IPM) programs, it provides long-lasting protection while maintaining environmental safety when used as directed.

    Key Features & Benefits

    • Broad-spectrum activity against ascomycetes, basidiomycetes, and oomycetes

    • Translaminar and systemic movement for thorough plant protection

    • Prevents spore germination and fungal development

    • Promotes green leaf effect – improved photosynthesis and plant growth

    • Enhances crop resilience to abiotic stress (e.g., drought, heat)

    • Excellent residual activity and rainfastness

    Target Diseases

    • Powdery mildew

    • Rusts (e.g., Puccinia spp.)

    • Leaf spot and blights (e.g., Septoria, Alternaria)

    • Anthracnose

    • Downy mildew

    • Botrytis (gray mold)

    • Early and late blight in potatoes and tomatoes

    Recommended Crops

    Crop Group Common Applications
    Cereals Wheat, barley, oats
    Fruits Apples, grapes, bananas
    Vegetables Tomatoes, cucurbits, peppers
    Oilseeds Soybeans, canola
    Ornamentals Roses, ornamental shrubs

    Mode of Action

Pyraclostrobin inhibits mitochondrial respiration in fungi by blocking electron transfer at the Qo site of the cytochrome bc1 complex, effectively stopping ATP synthesis. This disrupts energy production, leading to the rapid death of the fungal cells.

This QoI fungicide (FRAC Group 11) is most effective when used preventatively or at early signs of infection and should be rotated with fungicides of different modes of action to manage resistance.

    Application Guidelines

    • Apply as a preventive or early curative treatment

    • Use with adequate water volume for full foliage coverage

    • Can be tank-mixed with compatible fungicides or insecticides

    • Do not exceed the maximum number of applications per season

    Typical Rates:

    • 100–300 mL per hectare (SC formulations) depending on crop and disease pressure

    • Follow local agricultural extension or product label for specific usage

    Handling & Safety

    • Avoid direct skin or eye contact

    • Use gloves, mask, and protective clothing during handling

    • Toxic to aquatic organisms – avoid contamination of waterways

    • Store in original container in a dry, ventilated area away from food and animal feed
