Product Description:

Azospirillum is a free-living nitrogen-fixing bacterium widely used as a biofertilizer to promote plant growth and enhance soil fertility. It forms a beneficial association with the roots of cereals, millets, and grasses, where it converts atmospheric nitrogen into a form that plants can absorb and utilize efficiently.

In addition to nitrogen fixation, Azospirillum produces plant growth-promoting substances like indole acetic acid (IAA), gibberellins, and cytokinins, which stimulate root development and improve plant vigor. It is especially valuable in reducing the dependence on chemical nitrogen fertilizers, supporting organic and sustainable farming practices.

Application Methods:

• Seed Treatment:
  Mix 200 mL of liquid Azospirillum or 200 g powder with adhesive and coat 10 kg of seeds. Dry under shade before sowing.

• Soil Application:
  Mix 2–4 kg (solid) or 2 L (liquid) with compost/FYM and broadcast over 1 acre.

• Root Dipping:
  Prepare slurry using 1 L liquid Azospirillum in 10–15 L water. Dip seedlings for 30 minutes before transplanting.

• Drip Irrigation:
  Apply 1–2 L per acre in 200 L of water during early crop stages.
