Sodium Silicate is an inorganic compound composed of sodium, silicon, and oxygen. Its aqueous solution is commonly known as "water glass," which has strong adhesiveness, heat resistance, and alkali resistance, and is widely used in the construction, textile, and chemical industries.

(1) Construction Field: It is mainly used as a cementitious material and waterproofing agent. It can be mixed with cement and sand to make high-strength mortar for wall masonry and foundation reinforcement. It can also be painted on the concrete surface to form a waterproof film, improving the moisture-proof and impermeable performance of buildings, and can be used to repair cracks in masonry structures.

(2) Textile Field: Used as a sizing agent, it forms a tough film on the surface of yarns, enhancing the wear resistance and tensile resistance of yarns and reducing yarn breakage during weaving. At the same time, it can be used as a printing and dyeing auxiliary to help dyes adhere evenly to fabrics and improve color fastness.

(3) Chemical Industry Field: It is an important raw material for producing chemical products such as silica gel, silica white, and zeolite molecular sieves. It can also be used as an additive in soap and detergents to enhance decontamination ability, and as a rust remover in metal surface treatment to remove oxide layers on metal surfaces.

(4) Refractory Material Field: As a binder, it bonds refractory aggregates (such as corundum and quartz sand) together to make products like refractory bricks and refractory castables. These products are used for the inner lining of high-temperature equipment such as kilns and blast furnaces, and their high-temperature resistance ensures the stability of the equipment in high-temperature environments.

(5) Paper-Making Field: It can be used as a sizing agent for paper to improve the water resistance and smoothness of paper, and reduce blurred handwriting caused by excessive ink absorption of paper. It can also be used as a binder for paper tubes to enhance the hardness and compressive strength of paper tubes, which is suitable for the production of paper tubes in packaging, textile and other industries.

In the papermaking field, as a sizing agent, it can form a film on the paper surface to improve water resistance and smoothness.

(4) Auxiliary Synthesis and Efficiency-Enhancing Function: As a chemical raw material, it provides a silicon source for the synthesis of products such as silica gel and silica white. When added to detergents, it can enhance decontamination ability and optimize cleaning effects.

(5) High-Temperature Stability Function: In refractory materials, it can withstand high-temperature environments without failure, ensuring the structural stability of the inner lining of high-temperature equipment such as kilns and blast furnaces, and preventing equipment from being eroded by high temperatures.
