Sodium silicate Use and Manufacturing
Dry soda and silica sand in proportion, melting, cooling, melting, clarification, concentrating to a certain concentration, by spray drying, to get powdered sodium silicate. 1. Dry processes include soda ash method, sodium sulphate (Glauber's salt) method and trona method. (1) soda ash method uniformly mixes soda and silica sand according to a certain proportion in the 1400 ~ 1500 ° C melting reaction, melt cooling formed by the water quenching glass frit, hot into the melting tank, and then heated to dissolve through the steam, after the settlement and concentration, obtaining water glass. (2) sodium sulfate method firstly makes sodium sulfate (Glauber's salt) and coal powder evenly mixed, then add silica sand, mixed evenly after the rapid addition of furnace reaction, after the reaction is completed, the product baked cooling, crushing, dissolution, precipitation, Preparation of water glass. (3) Trona method. Trona, silica sand and pulverized coal are mixed according to a certain proportion, and then the caustic soda slag is added to regulate the mixture. The mixture is preheated for 2 to 4 hours by the top of the furnace and then reacts in the furnace. After 3 ~ 5h forming a molten material, quenching by discharging water, dissolving, precipitating and condensing the glass material formed by cooling to obtain water glass. 2. Wet process.Liquid caustic soda and silica sand mixed in the appropriate proportion by adding the autoclave, the direct access to steam heating until the reactor pressure rose to 0.7 ~ 0.8MPa, the stop access to direct steam, steam jacket insulation, maintain the pressure, the reaction for several hours, the reaction is filtered, concentrated to produce water glass.
Analysis reagents. Fire retardant. Adhesive.
