    Epoxidized Soy Oil is a pale yellow viscous oily liquid made from natural soybean oil, which is non-toxic at room temperature, has excellent heat resistance and light stability, and is often used as a non-toxic plasticizer and stabilizer in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products.

      Product Application  


    (1) Plastics Industry: As a plasticizer for PVC, it can improve the flexibility and ductility of materials and reduce processing temperature, and is often used in the production of flexible PVC products such as wires and cables, floor leather, and artificial leather. At the same time, it can absorb hydrogen chloride released during PVC processing, delay thermal decomposition, reduce discoloration and embrittlement of products, and extend service life. It is suitable for fields with high safety requirements such as food packaging and medical devices, such as food cling film and plastic food packaging bags.

    (2) Rubber Industry: It can be used as a softener and anti-aging agent for rubber, which can improve the elasticity, weather resistance and anti-aging performance of rubber, and enhance the processability and flexibility of rubber.

    (3) Coatings and Inks Field: In coatings, ESBO can be used as a plasticizer, leveling agent and curing agent, which can improve the adhesion, gloss and hardness of coatings. In inks, it can be used as an eco-friendly plasticizer and stabilizer, especially in food packaging printing inks. It can improve the adhesion and drying property of inks and prevent harmful substances from migrating into food.

    (4) Other Fields: It can be used to prepare biodegradable plastics and react with acrylic acid to produce epoxy soybean oil acrylate-based coatings. It can also be used as a tackifier and curing agent for adhesives to improve the adhesion, shear strength and water resistance of adhesives.


      Product Function  


    (1) Plasticizing Function: As a non-toxic plasticizer, it can significantly enhance the flexibility and ductility of materials like polyvinyl chloride (PVC), reduce the processing temperature, and make products easier to mold. It is widely used in flexible PVC products such as wires and cables, floor leather, and artificial leather.

    (2) Stabilizing Function: It can absorb hydrogen chloride released during the processing and use of PVC, delay the rate of thermal decomposition, reduce discoloration and embrittlement of products, and extend their service life. When used in combination with stabilizers like organotin, it has a synergistic effect and can reduce the dosage of expensive organometallic salt stabilizers.

    (3) Performance Improvement Function: ESBO has good compatibility with PVC resin, low volatility, and low migration. It also has excellent water resistance and oil resistance, which can endow products with good mechanical strength, weather resistance, and electrical performance. In addition, it is non-toxic and can be used in fields with high safety requirements such as food packaging and medical devices.
