      Product Detail  Potassium dihydrogen phosphate, also known as dipotassium phosphate, has the chemical formula K2HPO4 · 3H2O and a molecular weight of 28.22. The appearance is colorless plate-like or needle shaped crystals or white particles. It has deliquescence and is easily soluble in water (1g is dissolved in 3mL of water). The aqueous solution is weakly alkaline, with a pH of about 9 in a 1% aqueous solution, and is insoluble in ethanol. Density 2.33g/cm3. After burning, potassium pyrophosphate K4P2O7 is generated. Used as analytical reagents, pharmaceutical raw materials, buffering agents, chelating agents, yeast feed, emulsifying salts, antioxidant enhancers in the food industry. According to the "Hygienic Standards for the Use of Food Additives" (GB2760-1996) in China, it can be used for plant-based powders with a maximum dosage of 19.9g/kg. Let phosphoric acid react with potassium carbonate solution, then add a small amount of KOH to the solution until turns rose red, and evaporate and crystallize to obtain it.
