                                                                                        Polyacrylamide flocculant is a water-soluble polymer that is insoluble in most organic solvents and has good flocculation properties. It can reduce the frictional resistance between liquids. According to its ionic properties, it can be divided into anionic polyacrylamide (APAM), cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM), and nonionic polyacrylamide (NPAM). Polyacrylamide flocculants are widely used in thickening, stabilizing colloids, reducing drag, bonding, film-forming, biomedical materials, and other fields. Used as a coagulant aid, flocculant, and sludge dewatering agent in water treatment. Used as a precipitation agent and oil displacement agent in oil drilling and production. Used as a retention aid and reinforcement agent in the papermaking process.


                                                                                        Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a linear polymer compound that, due to its various active groups, can form hydrogen bonds through affinity and adsorption with many substances. It mainly coagulates negatively charged objects and has functions such as turbidity removal, adsorption, and adhesion. It is suitable for the treatment of wastewater with high organic content in industries such as dyeing, papermaking, food, construction, metallurgy, mineral processing, coal powder, aquatic processing, and fermentation. It is particularly suitable as a dehydration treatment agent for urban sewage, sewage sludge, papermaking sludge, and other industrial sludge. Principle of flocculation: When PAM is used for flocculation, it is related to the surface properties of the flocculent species, especially the dynamic potential, viscosity, turbidity, and pH value of the suspension. The dynamic potential on the particle surface is the reason for particle inhibition. Adding PAM with opposite surface charges can reduce the dynamic potential and cause coagulation. Adsorption bridging: PAM molecular chains are fixed on different particle surfaces, forming polymer bridges between particles, causing them to form aggregates and settle. Surface adsorption: Various adsorption of polar functional group particles on PAM molecules. Enhancement effect: PAM molecular chains and dispersed phases are linked together through various mechanical, physical, and chemical reactions, forming a network.

                                                                                        Anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) is a water-soluble polymer mainly used for the flocculation and sedimentation of various industrial wastewater, as well as the clarification and treatment of wastewater such as steel plant wastewater, electroplating plant wastewater, metallurgical wastewater, coal washing wastewater, and sludge dewatering. It can also be used for clarification and purification of drinking water. Due to the presence of a certain number of polar functional groups in its molecular chain, it can adsorb solid particles suspended in water, bridge between particles, or condense particles to form large flocs through charge neutralization. Therefore, it can accelerate the settling of particles in the suspension, significantly accelerate solution clarification, and promote filtration.
