Description

Pre-Mixed or Layered Bed Ion Exchange Resins are carefully formulated combinations of strong acid cation (SAC) resin in the H⁺ form and strong base anion (SBA) resin in the OH⁻ form. Unlike standard mixed-bed products that are uniformly blended, pre-mixed or layered designs optimize ion exchange performance by arranging the resins in pre-defined ratios or in layers. This configuration allows improved ion removal efficiency, longer run lengths, or easier regeneration, depending on the system design. These resins are commonly used in high-purity water applications where consistent performance and reduced leakage of silica and ions are critical.

Safety and Handling
