      Product Detail

Adenosine is a purine nucleoside, a compound formed by the N-9 of adenine and the C-1 of D-ribose linked by a β-glycosidic bond, with the chemical formula C10H13N₅O₄. Its phosphate ester is adenosine acid. Adenosine plays an important role in biochemistry, including energy transfer via adenosine triphosphate (ATP) or adenosine diphosphate (ADP), and signal transduction via cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). D-Adenine nucleoside is a type of glycoschemical bookylamine molecule composed of a nucleic acid base plus either ribose or deoxyribose. The bases include two types: purine and pyrimidine. Purines include guanine and adenine, while pyrimidines include cytosine, thymine, and uracil. The ribose and nucleic acid bases are linked by a β-N glycosidic bond.

    ECHEMI Editorial Reference
Adenosine is an important nucleoside composed of adenine and ribose. It is a white crystalline odorless powder with slightly salty or bitter taste. It is easily soluble in hot water and almost insoluble in alcohol. It is separated by yeast nucleic acid hydrolysis. Adenosine is a nucleoside consisting of an adenine molecule connected to a ribose molecule (ribofuran) part by a β-N9-glucoside bond. Adenosine is involved in energy transfer in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and adenosine diphosphate (ADP) and in signal transduction in the form of cyclic adenosine phosphate (cAMP). It is a purine D-ribonucleoside, a member of the adenosine family, which is functionally related to adenine and has neuroregulatory, cytoprotective, anti-inflammatory, and cardioprotective effects.
