Docosanamide, also known as behenic acid amide, is a non-ionic surfactant, stable in acid, alkali and aqueous media. It is smooth, odorless, waxy solid at room temperature and hardly soluble in most solvents. Good thermal stability, with the functions of opening, anti-sticking, demoulding, lubrication, brightening, dispersion and antistatic.

Application of Docosanamide CAS 3061-75-4

The main uses of behenamide are as follows: 

1. Mainly used as opening anti-sticking agent and anti-abrasion agent for CPP, BOPP, BOPET, BOPS, BOPA, BOPO, BOPLA, BOPEN, POF and composite films. 

2. Used as an opening, anti-sticking and Chemicalbook smoothing agent for LLDPE, LDPE, EVA, etc. 

3. Used as an auxiliary agent for foaming PE and internal and external lubricant for PVC. 

4. Behenic acid amide can be used as a bright release agent and in-mold flow promoter for engineering plastics (PA6, PA66). 

5. Release agent and lubricant for thermoplastic elastomer. 

6. Used as brightener, lubricating and dispersing agent, slip agent and anti-scratch agent, etc.
