Dodecylbenzenesulfonic Acid (LABSA/DBSA, CAS:27176-87-0,EINECS:248-289-4, HS Code:34021100, molecular formula C₁₈H₃₀O₃S, MW: 326.49) is a brownish-yellow viscous liquid with characteristic odor, produced by sulfonation of linear alkylbenzene with SO₃ followed by aging and purification.
