Description

It crystallizes from ethanol, with a melting point of 121-122℃. Acute toxicity LD50 in rats and mice (mg/kg): approximately 4500 mg/kg, >5000 mg/kg orally. Aniracetam is a piracetam derivative, belonging to the γ-lactam class of brain function improvers. It can cross the blood-brain barrier and selectively act on the central nervous system and brain tissue, improving brain function and enhancing memory. Compared with piracetam, it has advantages such as stronger effect, faster onset of action, and lower toxicity. Animal experiments have shown that this product has a good promoting effect on the memory retrieval process of discrimination learning in normal rats, can counteract memory decline caused by hypoxia, and can effectively improve memory impairment caused by certain reasons. Clinically, it is used to treat senile dementia, memory decline after cerebrovascular disease, and memory decline in middle-aged and elderly people.
