Aniracetam possesses a wide range of anxiolytic properties, which may be mediated by an interaction between cholinergic, dopaminergic and serotonergic systems.

Drugs used to specifically facilitate learning or memory, particularly to prevent the cognitive deficits associated with dementias. These drugs act by a variety of mechanisms. Into a 250 mL four-necked flask, 150 mL of toluene, p-methoxybenzoic acid (34 g, 0.2 mol), α-pyrrolidone (17 g, 0.2 mol), silica (6 g, 10 mmol) were refluxed, and methanol was distilled off. . Drug Function and Efficacy

This product is a brain function improving drug, which is a cyclized derivative of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA).
