      Usage Method  


      • Intended Use


        This product is a lyophilized synthetic peptide for in vitro laboratory research only. It is exclusively intended for use in controlled scientific environments, including biochemical analysis, cell-based assays, peptide structure–function studies, signal pathway investigation, and other basic research applications. Not for human, veterinary, or clinical use. Not for  ingestion, or any form of administration to living organisms.

        General Handling Precautions


        • Work in a sterile, low-dust laboratory environment; use a laminar flow cabinet if available.
        • Wear lab coat, nitrile gloves, safety goggles, and a dust mask at all times.
        • Avoid direct skin contact, inhalation of powder, or accidental ingestion.
        • Equilibrate sealed vials to room temperature (15–25°C) before opening to prevent moisture condensation and peptide deliquescence.
        • Keep exposure to ambient air as brief as possible; the peptide is hygroscopic and sensitive to oxidation.
        • Use sterile tools and containers throughout preparation to avoid microbial or endotoxin contamination.

        Reconstitution (Dissolution) Protocol


        Recommended Solvents


        • Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) – preferred for repeated sampling; contains benzyl alcohol as preservative.
        • Sterile Water  – for single-use, sterile applications.
        • Phosphate-Buffered Saline (PBS, pH 7.2–7.4) – for biological assays and cell culture work.

        Step-by-Step Reconstitution


        1. Prepare workspace: Wipe bench with 70% isopropyl alcohol; allow to dry completely.
        2. Sanitize stoppers: Use separate sterile alcohol swabs to clean the rubber stoppers of both the peptide vial and solvent vial; air dry 10–15 seconds.
        3. Draw solvent: Using a sterile syringe, withdraw the required volume of solvent (e.g., 2 mL for a 5 mg vial).
        4. Slowly along the wall: Direct the solvent gently down the inner glass wall of the peptide vial over 15–20 seconds; do not directly onto the lyophilized cake to avoid foaming and peptide denaturation.
        5. Dissolve by gentle swirling: Allow the vial to rest 1–2 minutes, then swirl slowly and continuously for 30–60 seconds until fully dissolved. Do NOT shake, vortex vigorously, or agitate harshly.
        6. Inspect clarity: The final solution should be clear to slightly opalescent, free of visible particles, precipitate, or turbidity.
        7. Label immediately: Record peptide name, lot number, concentration, reconstitution date, and operator initials.

        Typical Concentration Example


        • 5 mg lyophilized powder + 2 mL solvent = 2.5 mg/mL (2500 mcg/mL) stock solution.

        Aseptic Aliquoting & Laboratory Dispensing


        • After reconstitution, maintain sterility by working in a laminar flow hood.
        • Divide the stock solution into small, sterile microcentrifuge tubes or vials to avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
        • Label each aliquot with concentration, date, and expiry.
        • Use only sterile pipettes, tips, and syringes for transfer; avoid cross-contamination.
